We’re looking for a People & Talent Specialist who is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities while creating an exceptional Team Member experience. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you’ll support the full talent lifecycle—from attracting and hiring top talent to onboarding, engagement, and ongoing People & Culture initiatives. You’ll work closely with Leaders across the organization, providing responsive, thoughtful support while helping us continue to build a strong, people-focused culture. This is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys recruitment but wants a role that extends beyond traditional recruiting.
What You’ll Do Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of corporate and property-based positions. Partner with Leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Create engaging job postings and manage postings across appropriate recruitment channels. Source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing strategies. Screen applicants, conduct interviews, coordinate Leader interviews, and support candidate selection. Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements. Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and candidate information within our HR systems. Support recruitment reporting and monitor key metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipelines, and hiring trends. Onboarding & Team Member Experience Coordinate a seamless onboarding experience for new Team Members. Partner with Leaders to ensure new hires are welcomed, prepared, and set up for success. Support orientation and onboarding activities and continuously identify opportunities to enhance the new-hire experience. Conduct onboarding check-ins and gather feedback to help strengthen retention and engagement. Support Team Member engagement, recognition, culture, and People & Culture initiatives.
People & Culture Support
Serve as an approachable first point of contact for Team Members and Leaders on general People & Culture questions. Support employment documentation, Team Member changes, and HRIS data accuracy. Assist with People & Culture programs, communications, surveys, training, and special projects. Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, templates, and resources. Help ensure practices and documentation align with company policies and applicable Ontario employment legislation. Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
What You Bring
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a broader Human Resources role. Demonstrated experience managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities. A service-oriented mindset and genuine interest in creating positive candidate and Team Member experiences. Confidence working collaboratively with Leaders at different levels of an organization. Experience working with an HRIS/ATS; Dayforce experience is an asset. Experience within property management, real estate, hospitality, or another multi-site environment is an asset. CHRP designation or progress toward the designation is considered an asset.
