The National Accounts Coordinator reports to the Senior Manager, Customer & Sales Support Located in San Diego, CA Full-Time In Office/Hybrid

  The National Accounts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting Sales Representatives and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing responsive, accurate, and timely service. This position supports the fulfillment of replacement kitchen equipment requests for chain restaurants and contract customers by coordinating quotes, orders, inventory, deliveries, and installations. The Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for Sales Representatives, customers, and manufacturer representatives, ensuring orders are processed accurately and that customers receive timely updates throughout the order lifecycle. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Sales Representatives in managing customer requests and maintaining positive customer relationships. Prepare and provide accurate equipment quotes and assist with pricing and order-related inquiries. Enter and process customer orders accurately and timely. Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets to monitor orders, equipment availability, backorders, deliveries, installations, and other customer requests. Communicate tracking updates and order status information to Sales Representatives and customers. Check the status of purchase orders and follow up as needed to ensure timely processing and fulfillment. Check equipment availability and stock status with manufacturer representatives. Monitor backordered equipment and communicate expected availability and updates to customers and Sales Representatives. Coordinate equipment deliveries and installations, including communicating scheduling information and updates. Communicate with customers regarding order status, availability, backorders, delivery, and installation timelines. Complete account setups, account closures, and customer contact information updates accurately and timely. Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional and responsive customer service. Process orders related to the safety program, ensuring requests are entered and handled accurately. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer accounts, orders, and equipment requests. Collaborate with Sales Representatives, customers, manufacturers, and internal teams to resolve order issues and ensure timely fulfillment. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  COMPETENCIES:

Understanding of foodservice equipment and industry trends. Superior customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Clear, concise, and genuine phone presence and email communication. Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

1 – 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent military or practical experience. Completion of CFSP Test within the first 3 years of employment; CFSP Certification preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with working knowledge of Oracle Database, JD Edwards, and Auto-Quotes system. 1-2 years of experience in the foodservice/hospitality/restaurant industry. 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a sales support environment. Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
