Compensation: $18 to $19 hourly, depending on experience.

Schedule: Minimum 20 hours/week, flexible around class schedule.

Location: In-office position; candidates must be local to Orange County, CA.

About the Role

Trinity Property Consultants is seeking a motivated accounting intern to join our accounting department for a 90-day internship. This role is designed for a rising college senior who wants hands-on experience in property management accounting and month-end close. The intern will report to the Controller and work alongside the accounting team on core recurring workflows across our property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, matching bank activity to the general ledger and investigating reconciling items
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and research variances
  • Process and record check deposits
  • Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation
  • Review GL activity and prepare reclassification entries for mis-posted transactions
  • Assist with month-end close tasks and other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Completed coursework in financial accounting (intermediate accounting preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for the full 90 days
