The posting

Who are we?

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world.

We are a multi-award-winning organisation, with a global 2,500+ strong team across 12 studios.

Our expanded portfolio includes some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, collectively reaching top chart positions around the world and engaging over 25 million daily active users.

Tripledot’s guiding principle is that when people love what they do, what they do will be loved by others.

We’re building a company we’re proud of. One filled with driven, incredibly smart and detail-orientated people, who LOVE making games.

Our ambition is to be the most successful games company in the world, and we’re just getting started.

The role is working closely with one of our studio: Ludios

About Ludios

Ludios takes its name from the Latin, it means "The Game People". Led by Eyal, one of the co-founders of Tripledot Studios, and some of the most experienced people in mobile games, we are a studio that makes and publishes our own casual, free-to-play mobile games. Our team is based across APAC, with the majority of our development happening in Jakarta and Melbourne. We are data-driven, creative, and genuinely passionate about the industry we work in. Right now, we are working on a number of exciting projects, including one built around a globally recognised IP, alongside several original titles we are equally excited about. If crafting games and reaching millions of players is what gets you out of bed, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

The HR Director is the senior people leader for Ludios, working directly with the Studio CEO and Leadership Team and taking ownership of the studio’s people agenda. The role spans the full spectrum of HR, from hands-on employee matters and leadership support through to organisational design, workforce planning and long-term people strategy.

This person will develop a deep understanding of the studio, how it operates and what it is trying to achieve, and will ensure that its people strategy enables those goals. They will work closely with Tripledot’s central HR teams and Centres of Expertise, bringing the best of the wider organisation into Ludios while ensuring that initiatives are relevant, practical and appropriate for the needs of the studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior HR partner to the Studio CEO and Leadership Team, providing advice, coaching and constructive challenge on people, organisational and cultural matters.
  • Own and champion the studio’s people agenda end-to-end, from day-to-day employee matters through to long-term people strategy. Proactively identify and address emerging risks, gaps and opportunities across the studio’s people practices.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the studio, its teams, operating model and business goals, translating those needs into practical people priorities and HR support that help the studio achieve its objectives.
  • Identify, prioritise and personally drive the HR initiatives that will create the greatest value for the studio, ensuring they address the needs of people at every level—from junior employees through to managers, Directors, GMs and the CEO.
  • Provide hands-on support on employee relations and individual people issues, listening to concerns, investigating sensitive matters, advising leaders and employees, and taking responsibility for appropriate follow-through.
  • Support the Studio CEO and Leadership Team with workforce and organisational planning, including headcount, organisational structure, capability requirements, succession planning and people-related budgets.
  • Partner closely with the central HR Centres of Expertise, representing the studio’s needs and drawing on specialist knowledge and programmes to deliver relevant, practical support. Determine which initiatives will add the most value and how they should be implemented locally.
  • Maintain alignment with Tripledot’s wider people strategy and HR vision, ensuring the studio operates within the organisation’s principles, policies and standards while adapting the approach appropriately to its needs.

Requirements

  • Business savvy, with an instinctive approach to dig deep to fully understand the business, its aims and plans and have the vision and expertise to translate this into effective HR strategies and practice.
  • Substantial HR leadership experience within a commercial HR environment.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relations across a diverse range of cultures in order to optimize the contribution of our people towards the culture/aims.
  • Proven track record of turning business plans into people capability strategies and actions.
  • Experience of scaling organisations or other relevant change management.
  • A passion for influencing and promoting our culture and Brand to ensure we are the number one choice for both our people and our customers.
  • Have a hands-on approach and support other areas of the HR team whilst the team is growing.
  • Ability to Question and challenge leaders to get to the root of people and business issues.
  • Team Player committed to contributing to the success of HR as well as the business.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
  • A progressive non-bureaucratic approach to HR.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
