Join the team at Northern Southland Transport! Are you an experienced Class 5 driver looking for a stable, rewarding role with a respected transport company? Northern Southland Transport is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 5 Truck Driver to service our freight run between Te Anau and Milford Sound. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in customer service, and appreciates the stunning scenery of Fiordland. About the Role Based out of Te Anau, you'll be responsible for operating a truck and trailer unit on a run from Te Anau to Milford Sound, 2-3 runs a week, delivering and collecting freight for a variety of customers. On other days you'll be working in and around Te Anau. Key responsibilities include:

Safe operation of a truck and trailer unit Pick-up and delivery of general freight Loading and unloading freight using a forklift Providing excellent customer service to our valued customers Completing vehicle checks and required documentation Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance

What You'll Need To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Full Class 5 Driver Licence Dangerous Goods (DG) Endorsement Current Forklift Licence Strong commitment to health and safety Excellent time management and communication skills A professional and customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and take ownership of your run
