The posting

Full-time · Contractor · Remote · Monthly salary: $4,000 to $4,500 USD

Worldwide, with partial overlap with Pacific Time required

About the role

You lead events, marketing initiatives and client relationships inside the Production team, as a counterpart to the Production Lead. You own work from kickoff to launch, keep clients, partners and internal teams aligned, and step into the execution when it needs hands. Strategy, priorities and final decisions stay with the Production Lead.

You report to the Project Manager and the Production Lead, and work closely with the Junior Project Manager and the Marketing Coordinator.

About Moj and Trolley

Moj Mahdara is an entrepreneur and investor. She is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Kinship Ventures, the venture platform she launched alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, the founder of Trolley, and Co-CEO of goop, the lifestyle brand Gwyneth started in 2008. Before Kinship, Moj was CEO of Beautycon Media, the global festival and media company built at the intersection of beauty and pop culture.

Trolley is a fast-growing creative operations company delivering high-impact digital and marketing solutions. We work with high-profile clients and founder-led brands to strategize, produce and optimize content that drives engagement, brand visibility and business growth. Our team combines strategy, design, production and performance analysis, and we work AI-first. We are a fast-moving, collaborative remote team that values respect, teamwork and open communication.

What you will own

  • Events, podcasts, fellowships and community programs, from vendors, speakers and contracts to post-event follow-up.
  • Marketing and content initiatives, working with the Marketing Coordinator on campaigns, newsletters, launches and promotions.
  • Projects and partnerships that move from plan to launch without constant oversight, each with clear owners, timelines and success metrics.
  • Client, partner and vendor relationships: you lead the meetings and status updates and keep scope and expectations clear.
  • Alignment across production, creative, operations and community, with risks and blockers raised early.
  • Trackers, dashboards, reports and accurate CRM records that give the team and leadership a clear view of every project.
  • AI-enabled workflows that cut manual work in reporting, research and planning, and a lighter project load for the Production Lead.

Who you are

  • Experience leading several projects at once and managing clients or external partners, ideally in events, marketing, production, agency or media work.
  • Hands-on execution: you draft the update, build the tracker and prepare the report yourself when needed.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, and confidence representing the company in client and partner meetings.
  • Sound judgment: you make day-to-day decisions, escalate strategic ones and flag risks early.
  • AI is already part of how you work.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sponsors, speakers or talent partnerships.
  • Hands-on use of a CRM and project tools such as Notion or ClickUp.

This role is not

Not a sales, customer success, executive assistant or creative lead role.

How we hire

The stages depend on the case, and usually include:

  • A 15-minute interview
  • A skills test
  • A 30-minute interview with the manager
  • A final interview with Moj, our CEO

Equal opportunity

Trolley is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and make hiring decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or any other protected status. We are not considering applications from agencies or recruiters at this time.

We use AI tools to help organize and shortlist applications. A person reviews every application before any rejection and makes every final decision.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
