Job description: As a Consulting Engineer, you will lead technical consulting, solution design, implementation, integrations, and automation for enterprise customers across Southeast Asia and global markets.

This role is suited to experienced engineers who enjoy combining deep technical expertise in cloud, observability, and DevOps with customer-facing consulting. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customer IT teams, take ownership of project delivery from discovery to go-live, and work closely with regional sales, product, and engineering teams to drive customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts, shaping technical approach and success criteria with customer stakeholders.
  • Own end-to-end implementation for assigned enterprise customers, from architecture and deployment through testing, go-live, and post-launch optimisation, acting as the primary technical lead and trusted advisor.
  • Design and build integrations with APIs, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, monitoring and observability platforms, ticketing systems, and data sources, ensuring they are robust, secure, and maintainable.
  • Develop scripts, automation, and reusable tools that improve delivery speed and consistency across projects.
  • Design dashboards, alerts, reports, workflows, and customer-specific use cases that address business and operational objectives.
  • Resolve complex technical issues and escalations, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with product, engineering, and support teams to drive resolution.
  • Translate customer requirements from IT, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and operations teams into solution designs, implementation plans, effort estimates, and project scope.
  • Support regional sales in pre-sales activities, including technical qualification, solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and scoping of services.
  • Establish and maintain implementation best practices, technical documentation, runbooks, and customer enablement materials.
  • Mentor and guide junior consulting engineers, reviewing their work and helping build team capability.
  • Lead or contribute to regional and global customer projects, coordinating across multiple markets and time zones, and feed customer insights back to product and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, SoftwareEngineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, professional services, DevOps, SRE, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise software or cloudimplementations end-to-end, ideally for large or complex customers.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure,Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with programming or scripting languages such asPython, JavaScript, Java, Go, Shell, SQL, or similar.
  • Good understanding of APIs, web services, databases, networking,Linux, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong interest in cloud computing, observability, DevOps, SiteReliability Engineering, enterprise software, or technical consulting.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Curious, technically inclined, customer-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of customer deliverables.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, logging, or cloud-native technologies would be a plus.
  • Experience working on team-based or customer-facing technical projects would be beneficial.
