Je nieuwe werkomgeving

Je komt terecht bij een industrieel bedrijf dat zware aandrijftechnologie ontwikkelt en produceert voor een wereldwijde markt, met enkele honderden medewerkers op de Belgische site. Het bedrijf maakt deel uit van een beursgenoteerde Amerikaanse groep en wordt momenteel in die groep geïntegreerd. Het is een stabiele organisatie met een lange geschiedenis, een duidelijke structuur en veel collega's die er al jaren werken.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je bereidt de maand- en jaarafsluitingen voor en coördineert ze binnen de deadlines van de groep.
  • Je stelt financiële rapporteringen op voor het lokale management en de groep, analyseert ze en licht ze toe, ook wanneer er plots extra vragen komen.
  • Je zorgt dat de cijfers voldoen aan de groepsrichtlijnen (US GAAP) en aan de Belgische boekhoudregels.
  • Je begeleidt de algemene boekhouding en de collega's in het team en bewaakt de kwaliteit van de verwerking.
  • Je bewaakt de interne controleprocedures en de naleving van de fiscale regelgeving, waaronder btw.
  • Je ondersteunt de interne en externe audits en bent een vast aanspreekpunt voor de externe auditor.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het internationale Shared Service Center en werkt mee aan de overstap naar een nieuw ERP.
  • Je bent een sparringpartner voor de CFO en helpt processen en best practices te verbeteren.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Je hebt een diploma in economie, financiën of accountancy.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in algemene boekhouding en afsluitingsprocessen.
  • Je hebt die ervaring opgedaan in een grote productieomgeving binnen een internationale groep met een matrixstructuur. Zonder corporate ervaring is deze rol niet voor jou.
  • Je hebt al samengewerkt met een Shared Service Center en bent sterk in ERP-systemen en rapportagetools.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en nuchter, je hebt oog voor detail en je blijft rustig als de groep extra vragen stelt.
  • Je bent een teamplayer die zich goed voelt in een gestructureerde omgeving.
  • Je werkt vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Kennis van US GAAP is een grote troef; ervaring met SOX is mooi meegenomen.

  • Een sleutelrol in het Belgische finance-team, met rechtstreeks contact met de CFO en ruimte om extra verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen.
  • Een internationale context binnen een beursgenoteerde groep, met professionele en ervaren collega's.
  • Actieve betrokkenheid bij optimalisatieprojecten, waaronder de integratie in de groep en de overstap naar een nieuw ERP.
  • Ruimte voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling en doorgroei.
  • Een stabiele werkomgeving met een duidelijke structuur en toekomstvisie.
  • Maar liefst 38 verlofdagen per jaar, voor een gezonde balans tussen werk en privé.
