The Senior Infrastructure Engineer designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise infrastructure technologies that enable scalable, secure, reliable, and increasingly automated business operations. This role applies deep technical judgment and modern software engineering practices to improve how infrastructure capabilities are delivered, integrated, governed, and sustained across the enterprise. This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor of an evolving infrastructure automation capability and help shape the engineering practices, reusable patterns, and platform foundations that will define its future. The engineer will work across traditional infrastructure boundaries, contribute to production-grade automation and integration, and help turn complex operational needs into repeatable, supportable capabilities. Success requires curiosity, a growth mindset, disciplined engineering, and a willingness to challenge manual or fragmented approaches while working within enterprise standards and controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Works to achieve operational targets with major impact on the infrastructure engineering department or job area results and contributes to the development of goals for area of responsibility. 2. Designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains. 3. Develops and applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure. 4. Manages large infrastructure projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements. 5. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes. 6. Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability. 7. Ensures compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence. 8. Reviews infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing. 9. Provides strong technical guidance, training, and direction to infrastructure teams and lower-level technical professionals. 10. Demonstrates innovative influence with stakeholders in supporting business objectives and technical strategic objectives.

Qualifications Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience. 2. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering. 3. Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Preferred Qualifications 1. Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline

2. Experience in the financial services industry or another highly regulated environment

3. Experience applying software engineering practices to infrastructure, including version control, automated testing, reusable design patterns, and CI/CD delivery

4. Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, orchestration, API integration, and event-driven automation concepts

5. Experience integrating infrastructure capabilities across service management, configuration or asset data, observability, security, and delivery toolchains

6. Working knowledge of secure engineering, policy-as-code, secrets management, auditability, and automated control evidence within infrastructure delivery

7. Experience designing or operating reliable, production-grade infrastructure capabilities with attention to observability, resilience, maintainability, and lifecycle ownership

8. Ability to independently deliver complex infrastructure solutions while contributing to shared standards, reusable patterns, technical documentation, and architecture decisions

9. Demonstrated curiosity and growth mindset, including the ability to learn emerging practices, seek feedback, share knowledge, and treat ambiguity as an engineering opportunity

10. Experience reviewing technical work, mentoring less-experienced engineers, and explaining the reasoning behind engineering decisions

11. Awareness of how AI-assisted engineering and intelligent automation can be applied responsibly within governed enterprise platforms

12. Relevant industry certifications in cloud, infrastructure, automation, security, reliability, or architecture
