About Us

TrustFlight is a global provider of mission-critical digital platforms that power safety, compliance, and operational performance across aviation. Our technology helps aviation organisations manage the complex workflows required to operate safely and meet their regulatory obligations, replacing manual processes, fragmented systems, and legacy tools with connected digital operations.

The TrustFlight platform brings together three core products:

• Centrik — safety, quality, and compliance management

• Tech Log — digital aircraft technical records and logbooks

• Smart Docs — controlled documentation and operational manuals

These are complemented by the specialist expertise of our aviation services businesses — Baines Simmons, Redline, and Kenyon — providing advisory, training, and operational support to organisations across the global aviation ecosystem.

Together, TrustFlight enables aviation organisations to move from reactive, paper-based compliance to proactive, data-driven safety management, improving outcomes for operators, passengers, and the wider industry.

Today over 200,000 users rely on TrustFlight systems daily across airlines, MROs, airports, and regulators worldwide.

Role Snapshot

  • Location: London UK (On-site)
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission
  • This is an entry-level role designed for graduates and those early in their careers who want to break into sales, learn from an experienced team, and grow quickly.
  • Customers: Airlines, airports, MROs, cargo operators, OEMs, aviation regulators.
  • Products: Centrik, Tech Log, Smart Docs + aviation services portfolio.
  • Sales Motion: Outbound prospecting and pipeline generation to support the Account Executive team.

Your Role

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying pipeline across the TrustFlight’s full portfolio of products and services. You will play a vital role in connecting us with new customers across the aviation industry, identifying opportunities and setting up qualified meetings for the Account Executive team.

You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver targeted outreach, using the latest digital tools and CRM systems to manage your pipeline and track your activity.

No sales experience required. What matters is your mindset, drive, and willingness to learn.

This role reports to VP, Sales.

What You Need to Know About Sales at TrustFlight

  • Our clients span the full breadth of the aviation industry: Commercial Airlines, Cargo operators, Charter companies, Business Aviation, Airports, MROs, OEMs, and Regulators.
  • Our sales cycles are typically 6 months or longer. The SDR role is critical in building and qualifying the pipeline that feeds those cycles — patience, persistence, and curiosity are what drive success.
  • You will be expected to develop working knowledge of the TrustFlight portfolio over time. There is a meaningful learning curve, and we invest in helping you get there.
  • We practice leadership at all levels, grounded in integrity, excellence, and responsibility.
  • We set a high standard. We value both effort and results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to support account research, personalise outreach at scale, streamline CRM management, and stay ahead of industry developments, using technology to work smarter and focus time on meaningful prospect conversations.
  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting efforts to generate new sales leads within the aviation industry, targeting airlines, aircraft operators, maintenance organisations, and aviation regulatory agencies.
  • Use email, phone calls, social media, and networking events to initiate contact with potential clients and qualify leads.
  • Research target accounts to identify key decision-makers and gather initial insights about their needs.
  • Engage prospects in conversations to uncover potential areas of interest and set up qualified meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver targeted messaging and outreach, sharing feedback on what resonates.
  • Manage and prioritise your lead pipeline in CRM software, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate data entry.
  • Keep records of all interactions and activities in CRM to track progress and performance.
  • Stay up to date with industry news, trends, and competitor activity to support effective conversations with prospects.
  • Represent TrustFlight at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build presence and expand our network.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means:

  • Consistently generating a qualified pipeline of meetings and opportunities for the Account Executive team.
  • Building genuine rapport with prospects in the aviation industry, earning the right to a conversation through preparation, curiosity, and relevance.
  • Developing fluency in the TrustFlight portfolio and the operational challenges our clients face, so you can have credible, value-led conversations from day one.
  • Maintaining strong CRM discipline — accurate records, timely follow-ups, and clear pipeline visibility.
  • Growing quickly into a more senior SDR or Account Executive role by demonstrating the drive, coachability, and results that earn that progression.

What You’ll Bring

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional excited to begin a career in sales.
  • Great communicator who enjoys talking to people and building relationships.
  • Resilient — you don’t get discouraged by setbacks, and you keep moving forward.
  • Curious and adaptable with a growth mindset, open to feedback and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a working knowledge of AI tools; comfortable integrating new technology into day-to-day workflows.
  • Organised and motivated to hit goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, events, or conferences.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
