Wij zoeken een Autonomous Vehicle Operations Lead (AVOS) om de dagelijkse operatie te leiden van autonome voertuigen (AV) en robotaxi-vloten die testing programs, commerciële autonomous ride-hailing services en new city launches in Europa ondersteunen.

Als operationeel leider binnen het depot coördineer je Safety Operators, Depot Specialists, Senior Technicians en SDS Specialists om ervoor te zorgen dat voertuigen veilig, operationeel en deployment-ready blijven. Je speelt een cruciale rol in fleet availability, het behalen van operationele KPI’s en het succesvol lanceren en opschalen van autonomous vehicle fleets.

Deze functie past bij kandidaten met ervaring in fleet operations, mobility services, automotive operations, logistics of transportation die graag teams leiden in snelle, technologiegedreven omgevingen.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Dagelijkse operatie van autonomous vehicle en robotaxi fleets leiden op één of meerdere depot locations.
  • Zorgen dat voertuigen operationally ready zijn voor testing, commercial deployment en autonomous ride-hailing services.
  • Fleet utilization, vehicle availability, laadplanningen en operational readiness monitoren.
  • Dagelijkse vehicle dispatch en return activities coördineren om flotefficiëntie te maximaliseren.
  • Vehicle downtime minimaliseren via effectieve operationele planning en coördinatie.
  • Alle activiteiten binnen het robotaxi depot superviseren en veilige, efficiënte en georganiseerde operaties garanderen.
  • Werk van Depot Specialists, Safety Operators, Senior Technicians en SDS Specialists coördineren.
  • Zorgen dat voertuigen vóór deployment voldoen aan standaarden voor reiniging, laden, inspectie en onderhoud.
  • Depot setup en operational readiness ondersteunen voor new city launches en fleet expansion projects.
  • Operationeel personeel werven, onboarden, trainen en aansturen.
  • Shift schedules maken voor 24/7 fleet operations.
  • Performance reviews en coaching uitvoeren.
  • Een cultuur van veiligheid, accountability en continuous improvement bevorderen.
  • Zorgen dat alle teamleden operationele procedures en safety standards volgen.
  • Fungeren als primair operationeel aanspreekpunt voor interne en externe stakeholders.
  • Dagelijkse activiteiten coördineren met engineering, product, technical en fleet management teams.
  • Operational reports, KPI dashboards en performance summaries voorbereiden.
  • Operationele risico’s escaleren en mitigation plans ontwikkelen.
  • Customer visits, audits en operational reviews ondersteunen.
  • KPI’s monitoren, waaronder fleet availability, vehicle uptime, dispatch efficiency, depot productivity en operational quality.
  • Procesverbeteringen identificeren om downtime te verminderen en fleet performance te verbeteren.
  • Standard operating procedures ontwikkelen en implementeren voor autonomous vehicle operations.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives ondersteunen tijdens robotaxi fleet scaling en commercial deployment.
  • Compliance met bedrijfsbeleid, lokale regelgeving en operationele procedures waarborgen.
  • Een sterke safety culture bevorderen binnen alle operationele teams.
  • Zorgen dat incidenten correct worden onderzocht, gedocumenteerd en opgelost.
  • Health & safety requirements voor fleet en depot operations naleven.

Vereisten

  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in fleet operations, automotive operations, transportation, logistics, mobility services of vergelijkbare operationele omgevingen.
  • Ervaring met leidinggeven aan operationele of technische teams.
  • Ervaring met shift-based of 24/7 operations.
  • Sterke leadership en people-managementvaardigheden.
  • Uitstekende organisatorische en planningsvaardigheden.
  • Ervaring met KPI-monitoring en operational performance management.
  • Sterke communicatie- en stakeholder-managementvaardigheden.
  • Vloeiend Engels.
  • Ervaring met autonomous vehicles, robotaxi fleets, ADAS programs of automotive testing.
  • Ervaring met EV fleet operations.
  • Ervaring met lancering van nieuwe operationele sites of depots.
  • Kennis van fleet management systems en operational reporting tools.
  • Extra Europese talen zijn een voordeel afhankelijk van projectlocatie.
