Wij zoeken ervaren Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technicians om maintenance, diagnostics, repair en operational readiness van autonomous vehicle fleets en robotaxi operations in Europa te ondersteunen.

Als Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technician ben je verantwoordelijk voor het veilig, betrouwbaar en deployment-ready houden van electric and autonomous vehicles. Deze rol ondersteunt autonomous ride-hailing services, robotaxi fleet operations, on-road testing programs en new city launches, waar vehicle uptime, technische precisie en safety compliance cruciaal zijn.

Je werkt nauw samen met AV Operations Leads, Depot Specialists, Safety Operators, SDS Specialists, engineering teams en fleet operations teams om vehicle downtime te minimaliseren en de vloot operationeel te houden. De functie combineert hands-on automotive repair, EV diagnostics, high-voltage safety, software updates en ondersteuning van autonomous driving hardware.

Deze functie is ideaal voor een ervaren automotive technician die wil doorgroeien naar de toekomst van mobiliteit en direct wil werken met electric vehicles, autonomous driving systems, ADAS technology, robotics en self-driving vehicle platforms.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Preventive en corrective maintenance uitvoeren aan electric and autonomous vehicles die worden gebruikt in robotaxi fleet operations.
  • Zorgen dat voertuigen technisch klaar zijn voor daily deployment, testing, commercial operations en autonomous ride-hailing services.
  • Gedetailleerde voertuiginspecties uitvoeren ter ondersteuning van fleet readiness, vehicle uptime en operational safety.
  • Mechanische, elektrische, elektronische en software-related issues diagnosticeren en repareren.
  • Maintenance workflows ondersteunen voor high-availability autonomous vehicle fleets in shift-based of 24/7 omgevingen.
  • Advanced diagnostics uitvoeren op EV platforms, ADAS systems, autonomous driving hardware en vehicle electronic systems.
  • OEM diagnostic tools, service software en technische procedures gebruiken om root causes van voertuigstoringen te identificeren.
  • Problemen oplossen met battery systems, drivetrains, braking systems, steering systems, sensors, cameras, wiring en vehicle control modules.
  • Voertuigcomponenten vervangen, repareren en valideren volgens safety, quality en technical standards.
  • Complexe technische issues escaleren naar engineering teams met duidelijke documentatie en diagnostic findings.
  • Veilig werken met electric vehicle systems, inclusief high-voltage batteries, charging systems, inverters en electric drivetrains.
  • Strikte high-voltage safety procedures volgen bij diagnostics, repairs en component replacements.
  • Charging readiness en EV fleet availability ondersteunen in afstemming met depot operations.
  • Risico’s rond EV systems identificeren en safety concerns onmiddellijk escaleren.
  • Installatie, inspectie en vervanging van autonomous vehicle hardware components ondersteunen.
  • Checks uitvoeren voor cameras, LiDAR, radar, compute units, wiring harnesses, sensor mounts en related vehicle systems.
  • Coördineren met SDS Specialists wanneer issues te maken hebben met self-driving system, sensor calibration of autonomous driving software.
  • Zorgen dat autonomous driving hardware correct geïnstalleerd, schoon, functioneel en ready for operation blijft.
  • Vehicle software updates, configuration changes en validation checks uitvoeren volgens gedefinieerde procedures.
  • Post-repair testing ondersteunen om voertuigfunctionaliteit te bevestigen vóór terugkeer naar robotaxi operations.
  • Verifiëren dat repair en maintenance actions geen impact hebben op vehicle safety, operational readiness of autonomous system performance.
  • Nauwkeurige service records, diagnostic reports en repair documentation bijhouden.
  • Indien nodig optreden als technical lead tijdens toegewezen shifts.
  • Guidance en escalation support bieden aan junior technicians, depot teams en fleet operations staff.
  • Training ondersteunen van nieuwe technicians op vehicle maintenance procedures, safety standards en operational workflows.
  • Samenwerken met Operations Leads om repairs te prioriteren en fleet downtime te verminderen.
  • Maintenance processes, vehicle turnaround time en fleet reliability helpen verbeteren.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives ondersteunen rond fleet maintenance, depot operations en autonomous vehicle deployment.
  • Een schone, georganiseerde en veilige technische werkruimte in het depot behouden.

Vereisten

  • Minimaal 5 jaar hands-on ervaring als automotive technician, service technician, EV technician of diagnostic technician.
  • Sterke ervaring met automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance en repair.
  • Goed begrip van elektrische en elektronische voertuigsystemen.
  • Ervaring met diagnostic tools, service software en technical repair documentation.
  • In staat om strikte technische procedures en safety protocols te volgen.
  • Sterke probleemoplossende vaardigheden en aandacht voor detail.
  • In staat om zelfstandig onder druk te werken in een snelle operationele omgeving.
  • Comfortabel met shift-based operations, inclusief avonden, weekends of 24/7 fleet environments wanneer nodig.
  • Engels op upper-intermediate-niveau.
  • Ervaring met electric vehicles, high-voltage systems of moderne EV platforms.
  • High-voltage certification of EV safety training.
  • Ervaring met ADAS, autonomous vehicles, robotics of advanced automotive systems.
  • OEM certification of dealership experience met EV- of premium vehicle platforms.
  • Ervaring met fleet maintenance, ride-hailing fleets, mobility services of commercial vehicle operations.
  • Duits, Frans, Spaans, Nederlands of andere Europese talen afhankelijk van projectlocatie.
