Wij zoeken Veiligheidsoperators voor autonome voertuigen (Autonomous Vehicle Safety Operators / Safety Drivers) om tests, validatie, commerciële uitrol en opschaling van autonome voertuigvloten (AV) en robotaxi-vloten in Europa te ondersteunen.

Als Veiligheidsoperator autonoom voertuig speel je een cruciale rol in de veilige operatie van self-driving vehicles tijdens testprogramma’s, pilots en commerciële autonomous ride-hailing services. Je werkt nauw samen met engineering, fleet operations en depot operations om voertuiggedrag te monitoren, operationele procedures te bewaken en handmatig in te grijpen wanneer dat nodig is.

Ervaring met autonome voertuigen is niet vereist. Wij bieden volledige training in autonomous driving systems, operationele procedures en veiligheidsprotocollen. Wij zoeken ervaren en verantwoordelijke bestuurders met uitstekende situationele awareness die willen bijdragen aan de toekomst van autonome mobiliteit.

Deze functie biedt de kans om te werken met geavanceerde autonome voertuigtechnologieën en robotaxi launches, fleet expansion en commerciële autonome transportoperaties in meerdere Europese steden te ondersteunen.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Autonome voertuigen veilig bedienen en monitoren tijdens testing, validation en commerciële robotaxi fleet operations.
  • De prestaties van het self-driving system continu monitoren en volledig bewust blijven van de verkeerssituatie.
  • Onmiddellijk handmatige controle overnemen wanneer operationele procedures of veiligheidsprotocollen dit vereisen.
  • Toegewezen routes uitvoeren volgens lokale verkeersregels en bedrijfsprocedures.
  • De succesvolle deployment van autonomous ride-hailing services ondersteunen door veilige en consistente voertuigoperatie.
  • Pre-trip- en post-trip-inspecties uitvoeren om te zorgen dat elk autonoom voertuig deployment-ready is.
  • Voertuigreiniging controleren en camera’s, sensoren, spiegels, verlichting en andere kritieke systemen vóór elke shift inspecteren.
  • Schade, afwijkend voertuiggedrag of onderhoudsbehoeften melden aan depot- en technische teams.
  • De algemene fleet readiness ondersteunen door voertuigen beschikbaar te houden voor dagelijkse operaties.
  • Disengagements, observaties en operationele events vastleggen in bedrijfsrapportagetools.
  • Duidelijke en gestructureerde feedback geven over voertuiggedrag, verkeerssituaties en ongebruikelijke scenario’s tijdens tests of commerciële operaties.
  • Engineering teams ondersteunen door situaties te documenteren die de prestaties van autonomous driving systems verbeteren.
  • Nauwkeurige operationele records bijhouden en alle vereiste documentatie afronden.
  • Alle operationele procedures, veiligheidsprotocollen en regelgevende vereisten volgen.
  • Deelnemen aan doorlopende training, certificering en safety refreshers.
  • Professioneel blijven bij interactie met publiek tijdens autonomous vehicle testing en robotaxi operations.
  • Initiatieven voor continue verbetering ondersteunen die veiligheid en efficiëntie van autonomous fleet operations verhogen.

Vereisten

  • Geldig Europees rijbewijs.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar rijervaring.
  • Schoon rijrecord zonder ernstige overtredingen.
  • In staat om een background verification (BGV) succesvol te doorlopen.
  • In staat om drugs- en alcoholscreening vóór indiensttreding en steekproefsgewijs te doorstaan.
  • Uitstekende situationele awareness en defensieve rijvaardigheid.
  • Comfortabel met langere ritten in stedelijke en snelwegomgevingen.
  • In staat om gedetailleerde procedures nauwkeurig te volgen.
  • Goede communicatie- en rapportagevaardigheden.
  • Engels op upper-intermediate-niveau.
  • Ervaring als professionele bestuurder, fleet driver, chauffeur, ride-hailing driver of vehicle tester.
  • Ervaring met automotive testing, ADAS validation, mapping of fleet operations.
  • Bekendheid met elektrische voertuigen (EVs).
  • Ervaring in shift-based of 24/7-operationele omgevingen.
