The posting

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Site Quantity Surveyor:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage full spectrum of contract administration, including handling contractual matters with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensuring site teams comply with contract obligations and scopes.
  • Lead procurement activitiessource subcontractors/suppliers, obtain quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and raise purchase orders to secure competitive pricing within project budgets.
  • Prepare and submit progress claims to clients, evaluate subcontractor claims, and prepare payment certificates to ensure healthy project cash flow.
  • Update and monitor monthly cost reports covering expenses and financial status for HQ and Project Manager review.
  • Identify and submit variation order (VO) claims, review Architect Instructions, and advise Project Manager on cost/time implications.
  • Conduct accurate quantity take-offs for claims and payments to prevent overpayment.
  • Assist in site coordination, arrange meetings, and attend project/technical meetings to address cost-related queries.
  • Coordinate submission documents such as cash flow, subcontractor lists, AI/VO lists for monthly reporting.
  • Work out final account for the project and individual trades, supporting negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide junior QS staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • 5-8 years' experience, preferably with major Singapore construction firms handling condominium, commercial, residential, or hotel projects.
  • Managed 2-3 new build projects from inception to final account.
  • Strong experience in contract administration, procurement, progress claims, subcontractor payment evaluation, and final accounts.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and site coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and support project teams effectively.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 6,400 +VB (1-2 Months)
  • Working Location: City Hall
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
