Bring your styling skills and compassion to Tennessee State Veterans’ Home (TSVH) in Clarksville. We are seeking a contract Stylist to provide personalized hair care services that help our residents look and feel their best.

About the Opportunity

A haircut can offer more than a fresh look—it can bring comfort, confidence, and a meaningful connection. In this role, you will serve Tennessee’s veterans in a welcoming long-term care and skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

Provide haircuts and styling services tailored to residents’ preferences and needs.

Create a comfortable, respectful experience for each resident.

Coordinate with facility staff to schedule services and accommodate resident needs.

Maintain clean, sanitary tools and work areas.

Follow applicable licensing requirements and facility safety and infection-prevention procedures.

Qualifications

Current, active Tennessee license appropriate to the services provided.

Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, compassionate approach.

Ability to work with older adults and residents with varying care needs.

Experience serving seniors or working in a long-term care setting preferred.
