The posting

Are you ready to write your next chapter?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our ever-evolving Product FP&A team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll do as the Financial Analyst

You will support the Product Finance team with financial planning, product performance analysis, and investment appraisal. Working alongside experienced finance colleagues and Product stakeholders, you will take responsibility for defined analysis and reporting deliverables, while building the commercial understanding and stakeholder skills to develop into a trusted finance business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Support finance colleagues in working with Product leaders, preparing financial insight and helping investigate the assumptions behind business decisions.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management for assigned product areas, taking responsibility for agreed inputs, analysis, and reporting outputs.
  • Analyse product performance, investment spend, revenue, cost, margin, and key business drivers.
  • Identify and investigate risks, opportunities, trends, and variances, preparing clear commentary and contributing to recommendations with guidance from finance colleagues.
  • Build and maintain financial models and contribute analysis to business cases and scenarios for product investments, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support investment prioritisation, capital planning, governance, and tracking against approved business cases.
  • Help prepare Quarterly Product Reviews through financial analysis, performance commentary, and supporting materials.
  • Build effective working relationships across Product, Technology, Commercial, and Finance to gather inputs, understand business drivers, and resolve queries, progressively taking a more active role in stakeholder discussions.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis, modelling, and presentations to support finance colleagues in responding to senior stakeholder and executive requests.

What you’ll bring

  • Working towards, or recently completed, a professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience building or maintaining financial models, with an interest in developing business case and scenario analysis skills.
  • A working understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships, ask thoughtful questions, and develop confidence in working with stakeholders.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain financial analysis and key findings to finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • A proactive approach, commercial curiosity, and a desire to develop into a finance business partner, with the ability to manage agreed deliverables and seek guidance when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate financial analysis.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Previous experience using Power BI to build dashboards and support decision-making.
  • Exposure to commercial analysis or business case preparation, with an interest in understanding how financial insight informs business decisions.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting frameworks would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Experience supporting payments, fintech, or product-led businesses, with an understanding of product performance, investment decisions, and commercial drivers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
