The posting

The Cleaner Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily cleaning operations, managing cleaning staff, and ensuring that cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards are maintained at assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide cleaning staff in their daily duties.
  • Assign work schedules, duties, and manpower according to operational requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning quality and standards are met.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and work performance.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment of cleaning materials.
  • Ensure staff comply with workplace safety, health, and hygiene requirements.
  • Provide on-the-job training and safety briefings to cleaning staff.
  • Handle client feedback, service complaints, and operational issues promptly.
  • Prepare daily work reports, attendance records, and other operational documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager on manpower deployment and site requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning operations or team supervision is preferred.
  • Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Able to manage and motivate a team of cleaning staff.
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to resolve operational issues.
  • Willing to work on-site and support operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and workplace safety practices is an advantage.
