Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Senior Executive Used EV 3-Wheeler Sales to lead the sales of pre-owned electric three-wheelers. The role involves identifying potential buyers and sellers, developing market networks, evaluating used EV opportunities, negotiating deals, and driving sales closures.

Despite the designation, this is an individual contributor role with direct responsibility for achieving sales targets, building a strong customer pipeline, and managing the complete sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end sales of pre-owned electric three-wheelers, including passenger and cargo vehicles.
  • Identify and develop potential customers, including individual drivers, fleet operators, small business owners, and commercial vehicle buyers.
  • Source used EVs through customer networks, driver communities, dealers, fleet owners, and other market channels.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective buyers and sellers through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and local market outreach.
  • Evaluate vehicle condition, pricing, battery health, vehicle history, and resale potential in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Negotiate purchase and selling prices to ensure commercially viable transactions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and customer meetings to negotiation, documentation, payment coordination, and vehicle delivery.
  • Explain vehicle features, ownership economics, financing options, and applicable resale or buyback benefits to customers.
  • Build relationships with used-vehicle dealers, EV dealerships, fleet operators, and local market stakeholders.
  • Achieve monthly sales, sourcing, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Track market demand, competitor pricing, inventory movement, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance during vehicle purchase and sale transactions.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, conversion metrics, and transaction updates.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, used-car/used-commercial-vehicle sales, or commercial vehicle sales.
  • Prior experience in used vehicle sourcing, resale, dealer networks, or vehicle trading will be an advantage.
  • Exposure to electric three-wheelers, electric commercial vehicles, or the EV ecosystem is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing customer deals.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and customer acquisition skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage field sales activities, and develop business in a competitive market.
