The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Claims Data based in the United States.

Join an innovative healthcare technology environment focused on making healthcare pricing more transparent and accessible. In this role, you will own the strategy and roadmap for healthcare claims data, ensuring it is reliable, well-structured, and valuable across multiple products and customer experiences. You will oversee data sourcing, ingestion, quality, and integration while managing external data partnerships and navigating complex data usage requirements. Working closely with engineering, product, analytics, strategy, and solutions teams, you will transform complex claims information into actionable insights and scalable data capabilities. Your work will support AI-powered experiences, healthcare pricing analysis, and benchmarking solutions used by diverse stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a product leader who combines healthcare domain expertise, data fluency, strategic judgment, and a collaborative mindset.

Accountabilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap Ownership: Define and manage the claims data product strategy across all available sources, prioritizing investments, new capabilities, enhancements, and long-term opportunities based on business needs and customer value.
  • Data Sourcing and Governance: Understand the contractual terms, licensing conditions, and usage restrictions associated with each data source, identifying creative and compliant ways to maximize value while respecting applicable constraints.
  • External Data Partnerships: Manage relationships with external data providers, develop a deep understanding of their offerings, identify opportunities to improve data quality and coverage, and monitor broader market developments.
  • Data Ingestion and Quality: Own the product direction for claims data ingestion, ensuring pipelines support different formats reliably and flexibly while continuously improving data quality, standardization, mapping, and consistency.
  • Data Infrastructure and Reusability: Make claims data accessible and easy for internal product teams to use by establishing reusable data models, common definitions, standardized logic, and scalable data capabilities.
  • AI and Analytics Integration: Enable the use of claims data across AI-powered products, analytics tools, and customer-facing experiences, ensuring users can access relevant information and generate meaningful insights.
  • Customer-Facing Claims Experiences: Help shape in-platform experiences for customers who contribute claims data, enabling them to create customized reports, explore their data, and derive actionable insights from their submissions.
  • Internal Data Enablement: Support Strategy & Operations and Solutions Engineering teams by improving access to claims data for customer projects, business analyses, and client-specific use cases.
  • Benchmarking and Data Modeling: Build and maintain reusable claims dimensions, benchmarking tables, and shared data assets that support consistent analysis and product development across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, analytics, and business teams to align priorities, coordinate delivery timelines, and ensure claims data capabilities meet the needs of both internal and external users.
  • Healthcare Pricing Intelligence: Apply knowledge of claims adjudication, reimbursement, and contracted rates to guide product decisions and ensure data assets support meaningful healthcare pricing transparency and analysis.
  • Product Management Experience: Approximately 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally with direct ownership of a data-centric product strategy and roadmap.
  • Healthcare Claims Expertise: Direct experience working with healthcare claims data and a strong understanding of healthcare pricing mechanics, including how claims are adjudicated and paid against contracted rates.
  • Price Transparency Knowledge: Experience with healthcare price transparency data is a significant advantage.
  • Healthcare Ecosystem Understanding: Familiarity with how payers, providers, life sciences organizations, employers, brokers, digital health companies, and care navigation platforms use data to make business and operational decisions.
  • Data Product Strategy: Demonstrated ability to define product priorities, manage data-related tradeoffs, establish clear requirements, and deliver reusable data capabilities that support multiple products and stakeholders.
  • Data Fluency: Working knowledge of data models, data structures, mapping, quality, definitions, and technical tradeoffs, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams without necessarily building or managing technical pipelines directly.
  • Data Partnerships and Constraints: Ability to understand external data agreements, navigate usage restrictions, manage provider relationships, and identify opportunities to maximize the value of available data.
  • Cross-Functional Product Leadership: Experience working with engineering, analytics, product, operations, and customer-facing teams, balancing proactive roadmap development with the timelines and dependencies of other teams.
  • Customer-Centric Thinking: Ability to translate complex data into practical product capabilities that improve user experiences, support informed decision-making, and deliver measurable value.
  • Strategic Judgment: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions when requirements, data constraints, or business priorities are ambiguous.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative and low-ego working style, and the ability to build alignment across teams with different objectives and technical backgrounds.
  • Work Authorization: Current authorization to work in the United States is required. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed, U.S.-based team and work with stakeholders and clients operating on U.S. business hours.
  • Competitive Compensation: Senior I base salary range of $159,000–$180,000 or Senior II base salary range of $185,000–$210,000, depending on role level, qualifications, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • Equity Opportunities: Company stock options as part of the total compensation package.
  • Comprehensive Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Flexible Spending and Savings Accounts: Access to Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (DCFSA), and Health Savings Accounts (HSA), where eligible.
  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off: Unlimited PTO to support rest, personal commitments, and work-life balance.
  • Remote Work Flexibility: Fully remote position for candidates based in the United States, with flexible working hours.
  • Home Office Support: A $750 work-from-home setup budget to help create a productive remote workspace.
  • Company Gatherings: Paid biannual in-person company summits to encourage collaboration and team connection.
  • Coworker Connection Stipend: Quarterly $150 stipend to meet and socialize with colleagues.
  • Health and Wellness: Monthly $100 health and wellness benefit.
  • Insurance Protection: Company-sponsored life and disability insurance.
  • Family Support: Generous paid family leave.
  • Learning and Development: Annual $1,200 learning and development stipend to support professional growth and skill development.
  • Inclusive Culture: A remote-first working environment that values transparency, empathy, creativity, ownership, and diverse perspectives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
