Jouw uitdaging:

In deze functie neem je eigenaarschap over je schadedossiers. Je analyseert aansprakelijkheidsvraagstukken, onderhandelt met betrokken partijen en bewaakt de voortgang van je dossiers. Daarbij staat een correcte, efficiënte en klantgerichte schadeafhandeling steeds centraal.

Je:

  • behandelt zelfstandig eenvoudige en complexe schadedossiers binnen CMR, ladingaansprakelijkheid en logistieke dienstverlening;
  • bent een aanspreekpunt voor klanten en makelaars en begeleidt hen tijdens de aangifte en verdere opvolging van het dossier;
  • analyseert de schade en de aansprakelijkheid en verzamelt de nodige informatie om tot een onderbouwde beslissing te komen;
  • stelt waar nodig de meest geschikte deskundige aan;
  • onderhandelt met tegenpartijen en voert regressen uit;
  • bewaakt de voortgang van je dossiers en zorgt voor een nauwkeurige opvolging van agenda’s en reserves;
  • legt waar relevant de link met onze afdeling Preventie en gaat hierover in gesprek met klanten en makelaars;
  • deelt actief je kennis met collega’s en draagt bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de expertise binnen het team;
  • werkt nauw samen met je collega’s en neemt binnen het zelfsturende team verantwoordelijkheid op voor een aantal overkoepelende taken;
  • rapporteert aan de afdelingsleiding.

Wie ben jij?

Je combineert een stevige inhoudelijke basis met een klantgerichte en pragmatische aanpak. Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid, communiceert helder en weet ook in complexe dossiers het overzicht te bewaren.

Je:

  • beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in Rechten, Financiën en Verzekeringswezen of een gelijkaardige richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
  • hebt bij voorkeur enkele jaren ervaring met schadebeheer, aansprakelijkheidsverzekeringen of transportverzekeringen;
  • hebt kennis van CMR en transportaansprakelijkheid, of bent sterk gemotiveerd om je hierin verder te specialiseren;
  • communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Frans, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
  • hebt een goede kennis van het Engels; kennis van het Duits is een pluspunt;
  • werkt vlot met Microsoft Office, in het bijzonder Word en Outlook;
  • beschikt over een sterk analytisch vermogen en weet snel tot de essentie van een dossier te komen;
  • werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en pragmatisch;
  • bent klantgericht en zoekt naar haalbare oplossingen voor alle betrokken partijen;
  • communiceert helder en overtuigend en staat stevig in onderhandelingen;
  • bent een echte teamplayer en draagt actief bij aan de goede werking van het team.
