The posting

SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join TXP on a client project and take a hands-on role in developing and improving a complex Salesforce estate. A key part of the work will be designing, building and deploying Salesforce Agentforce agents that support real business processes.

The client runs two Salesforce orgs covering Sales Cloud and FinancialForce (Certinia), with finance processes spanning the sales ledger and general ledger. The contact centre also uses Service Cloud, which is largely supported by an external development partner.

You’ll be one of the key Salesforce technical specialists in a small internal team. You’ll write and review code, work directly with business stakeholders, and have the autonomy to challenge requirements and recommend how to deliver them.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

As part of an agile software development team, you will:

  • Design, build, test and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL and Salesforce APIs.
  • Lead hands-on Agentforce development, from identifying suitable use cases and configuring agents through to testing and deployment.
  • Enhance Sales Cloud and build or maintain integrations across Salesforce, FinancialForce and other enterprise systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the business problem and decide when to use Apex, Salesforce Flow or other native platform capabilities.
  • Review the existing estate and identify improvements to performance, scalability and maintainability.
  • Maintain good standards for testing, security, source control, deployment and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal Salesforce colleagues and external development partners.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer, with the ability to take ownership of development work in a small team.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions with Apex and LWC, plus solid knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.
  • Strong Sales Cloud experience and experience working in complex or multi-org Salesforce environments.
  • Practical experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
  • A strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modelling and automation, including Salesforce Flow.
  • Experience with modern Salesforce development and deployment practices, including Salesforce DX, Git and CI/CD.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

YOUR AGENTFORCE EXPERIENCE:

Hands-on Agentforce implementation is essential. We’re looking for someone who has personally designed, built and implemented Salesforce Agentforce agents for real business use cases, ideally through to production.

You should be able to walk us through an agent you helped deliver, explain what you personally built, and describe how you tested and deployed it. We’d like to hear how you configured topics, actions, instructions and guardrails, and how the agent interacted with Salesforce data, automation, APIs or existing business processes.

AWESOME BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Experience with FinancialForce (Certinia), particularly in accounting or finance workflows.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with finance, ERP or general ledger systems.
  • Service Cloud or contact centre experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
