Summary
This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must have Valid State Driver's License and Pass MVR
Must have 12 Months Experience within the last 18 months with Same Employer Listed on your application or resume.
- Responsibilities
- During your work shift, which will consist of 8-10 hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.
- Clean lot and pick up trash throughout shift and during down time.
- Must be willing to endure standing, walking, and climbing up and down from yard shuttle vehicles up to 100% of the time.
- At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.
- Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
Environment
- Must accept work in a cold damp environment with temperatures ranging from -5 to 34 degrees and exposed to outdoor conditions.
- Environment will be fast paced and require repetitive motion.
- May be exposed to inclement weather from time to time, working outdoors up to 100% of the time. Including both Hot and Cold weather.
- Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)
- Standing or walking up to 100% of the time
Proficiency in reading and writing.
