Job Description

As a Data Business Analyst Assistant in the Ubisoft – Publishing Data Domain team, you will learn to

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

Exploring stakeholders’ needs:

  • Continuously exploring stakeholders’ needs to identify high-impact issues that can be addressed by data solutions;
  • Participating in data modelling processes to assess the extent to which current data sources and products meet these needs;
  • Propose data and/or technical solutions tailored to stakeholders’ needs, in line with the team’s strategic direction;
  • Oversee the implementation of systems to automate tasks carried out by non-data roles involved in the project.

Oversee the development of prototypes:

  • Together with your manager and the relevant teams, define the priorities and roadmap required to build an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), and play an active role in its design;
  • Support the business teams with their analytical needs through ad hoc analyses and the continuous optimisation of existing prototypes.

Contribute to the company’s cross-functional strategy:

  • In collaboration with your counterparts, assess the potential for industrialising prototypes to benefit other departments or teams;
  • Ensure that stakeholders’ data products are aligned with data governance principles.

Qualifications

  • A student at a business school, engineering school or on an equivalent university course, with an interest in data-related subjects;
  • You are recognised for your analytical and summarising skills;
  • You are keen to work independently and take the initiative;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and can interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders, whether from the business or IT sectors;
  • Knowledge of data analysis (SQL, Python) and data visualisation (Power BI) is an advantage;
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, suitable for an international collaborative environment.

How should I prepare my application to Ubisoft?

First, read the job description carefully in order to highlight your relevant experiences and skills for this position! A personalized and well-detailed resume will certainly allow you to stand out 😉

Cover letter or not? Between both, we’ll always prefer a few lines explaining your interest in the internship /apprenticeship, rather than a long generic copy / paste! A dedicated space is also specifically provided for this purpose when you apply on our site.

I don't know the video game industry. Do I fit into Ubisoft?

A lot of our employees are not huge fans of video games. At Ubisoft, we are looking for people who are passionate about their specialties, their jobs or entertainment in general.

What can I expect during an internship or apprenticeship at Ubisoft?

Once you are autonomous, your tasks will be varied and give you a sense of responsibility, regardless of the type of contract. Working at Ubisoft means working on real projects on a day-to-day basis.

A dedicated Teams group will also allow you to interact with other interns and apprentices.

What are Ubisoft social engagements?

We are working to enrich players’ lives through unique and memorable gaming experiences and by improving the positive impacts of our games. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
