Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining the knowledge and abilities essential to the performance of stated behaviors. Carries out legal responsibilities within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Accountable to the NURSE SVC SUPV 2 for overall work performance.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two years of recent RN clinical experience in an inpatient operating room
  • Recent experience (within the last 6 months) circulating and/or scrubbing Orthopedic, Pulmonary, ENT, Endocrine & GYN procedures done in inpatient setting.
  • This position requires the flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • BSN
  • CNOR
  • Scrub experience

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
  • Current American Heart Association CPR for healthcare providers
