About Product @ Udhyam

The heart of an NGO, the mind of an enterprise and the pace of a start-up. Rolled into one, this explains a bit about the kind of organisation (& team) we are. We are committed to the bigger picture of doing work which has lasting value and deep impact. As an organisation, we value the spirit of experimentation, high ownership and collaboration. We are also focused on scale and speed.

The Product team is a high-impact and fast-growing AI innovation team developing cutting-edge products that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI, Gemini and open-source models to solve real-world problems that make a positive impact. We’re building a suite of transformative AI-driven products in the education space that are shaping the future of how students learn, create, and innovate.

We are zealous about customer centricity and our passion to make a difference is matched with our empathy. In everything we do, we endeavour to pursue excellence. We are on a happy journey to Make Bharat Entrepreneurial through our education and livelihood programs. On the days we are in office (we are a hybrid working organisation currently) it’s a rocking party with everyone else joining the laughter and the fun. There is always food (for thought too), loud discussions and roaring conversations. Yes, we also choose to burn the midnight oil to honour the commitments we make.

As a Product Intern, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and Program teams to help bring impactful products to life. This is an opportunity to learn product management by doing—working on real product challenges, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, and contributing to products that impact lakhs of students across India.

As a Product Intern, you will:

Be the bridge across teams. 🤝

Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Design and Program teams to ensure everyone is aligned on priorities, feature rollouts and timelines. Help keep product initiatives moving by following up on action items and ensuring smooth communication.

Support product launches and communication. 🚀

Assist in planning and executing go-to-market (GTM) activities for new features and product releases. Create product communication, release notes, training material and documentation to help internal teams understand and adopt new capabilities.

Champion the needs of our state teams. 🌏

Work closely with program teams across different states to understand operational requirements, document feature requests and coordinate with the Product team to evaluate and accommodate changes wherever required.

Turn ideas into well-defined product requirements. 📝

Support in user research, competitive analysis and feature discovery. Help document user stories, write test cases, acceptance criteria and functional specifications for new feature development.

Learn through data and customer feedback. 📊

Analyse product usage, user feedback and operational insights to identify opportunities for product improvements. Participate in customer conversations and usability testing to develop a strong user-centric mindset.

To rock this role, you should have:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders. 🗣
  • Strong organisation and project coordination skills, with attention to detail. 📋
  • Curiosity about how digital products are built and an eagerness to learn product management. 🌱
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical thinking. 🔍
  • Ability to synthesise information, document requirements clearly and communicate them effectively. ✍️
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. ⚡
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks from start to finish. 🤝
  • Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Jira or similar platforms is a plus.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • Recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Design, Computer Science or a related field. 🎓
  • Relevant previous experience, internship, campus leadership or project experience demonstrating ownership, collaboration or problem-solving is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An interest in technology, AI, education or social impact.

To ace this role, you should have:

  • A genuine curiosity about users and the problems they face. ❤️
  • A growth mindset and openness to feedback. 🌱
  • High ownership and the ability to proactively solve problems. 🚀
  • Enthusiasm for learning how great products are built and scaled.
  • Passion for creating technology that delivers meaningful social impact. 🌍

Why join us?

You'll get hands-on exposure to the complete product development lifecycle—from user research and feature discovery to PRD writing, stakeholder management, GTM planning and product launches. You'll work alongside experienced Product Managers while contributing to products that create meaningful impact in education across India.

If you're excited about building products, solving real-world problems and learning in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
