Osobni asistent /asistentica mora biti punoljetna zdravstveno sposobna osoba koja ima završen program obrazovanja (osposobljavanja ) za osobnog asistenta/asistentice, vozačka dozvola B kategorije poželjna.

Iznimno, osobni asistent/asistentica može biti koja ne ispunjava uvjet završenog programa obrazovanja odraslih (osposobljavanja) za osobnog asistenta/asistenticu ako je do dana stupanja na snagu Zakona o osobnoj asistenciji završila edukaciju za osobnog asistenta u trajanju od najmanje deset sati i ispunjava ostale uvjete propisane Zakonom.

U slučaju da kandidat/kandidatkinja nema završen program obrazovanja odraslih (Osposobljavanja) za osobnog asistenta/asistentice dužan je isti završiti u roku od tri mjeseca od datuma zapošljavanja. Mogućnost zapošljavanja i na pola radnog vremena.

Usluga osobne asistencije osobi s invaliditetom obuhvaća:

- obavljanje kućanskih poslova, uključujući i organiziranje prehrane, koje korisnik nije u mogućnosti samostalno obaviti.

- hranjenje

- održavanje osobne higijene

- transfer

- rukovanje pomagalima

- obavljanje administrativnih poslova

- obavljanje kupovine

- te ostala podrška koja je potrebna korisniku

Udruga osoba s invaliditetom Zadarske županije Zadar će obrađivati podatke u svrhu provedbe natječajnog postupka sukladno propisima koji reguliraju zaštitu osobnih podataka.
