Join the Central Staffing Office Float Pool and support patients and nursing teams across a variety of units while building experience throughout the hospital.

Work Information

  • 🏥 Department: Central Staffing Office / Float Pool
  • ☀️ Shift: Days
  • 🕒 FTE: Full-Time | 36 hours per week
  • 🔄 Role: Float Pool – assignments may vary based on patient care and staffing needs

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool supports patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe and organized patient environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

🎓 Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post-high school specialized training preferred

📋 Licensure & Certification

  • Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
  • Preferred: Two (2) years of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting.
  • BLS required
