Join the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) day team at UF Health Central Florida as a Nursing Assistant and make a meaningful difference by providing compassionate, hands-on care to patients while supporting nurses and the healthcare team.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses (RNs), the Nursing Assistant supports patient care by assisting with basic physical care and nursing procedures, providing comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals, you'll play an important role in supporting patient comfort, safety, and quality care throughout their hospital stay.

  • 💼 Status: Full-Time
  • 🩺 Work Environment: Inpatient cardiovascular care

Qualifications

🎓 Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post-high-school specialized training preferred

Licensure & Certification

  • Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
