Overview

Make a difference through hands-on patient care. Join the Neuro Medical-Surgical team as a Nursing Assistant and work alongside nurses to provide patients with essential care, comfort, and support throughout their stay.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

  • 🏥 Department: Neuro Medical-Surgical
  • 🌙 Shift: Nights
  • ⏰ Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • 💼 Status: Full-Time
  • 🤝 Role Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, nursing procedures, comfort measures, and maintaining a safe and organized care environment

A great opportunity to provide hands-on patient care while supporting patients and the nursing team in a Neuro Medical-Surgical setting.

Qualifications

🎓 Education & Training

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post-high-school specialized training preferred

📋 Licensure & Certification

  • Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
  • BLS required
