Challapalli Cardiology, a physician-owned and operated cardiology group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Electrophysiologist (EP) to join our expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity for cardiologists who want clinical autonomy and strong earning potential, in a premier private practice with the highest quality of care and an excellent referral base. Quick Facts Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: 5 - 8's Call: Shared clinic call with the other providers, no hospital call Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day (varies) in the clinic with APP support; surgery days are filled with multiple procedures Practice Setting: Clinical setting with privileges at all local hospitals for procedures Support/Care Team: Experienced APPs and MAs Model: Private practice with strong referral support from local hospitals EMR: Athena Position Responsibilities Provide care for up to 25 patients/day in the clinic Collaborate with physicians, other APPs, and support staff Perform a wide range of procedures including device implants and more Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation in the $600K-$700K range, based upon experience Sign-on bonus Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision 6 weeks PTO CME Allowance Licensure Allowance Relocation Reimbursement High-demand region with significant growth potential No state income tax in Nevada = more take-home pay Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Medicine Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain upon hire VT ablation experience is a plus, but not required A Bit About Reno Reno residents enjoy: No State Income Tax Being nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains, with a unique blend of outdoor adventure and cultural experiences Four seasons “light” with 300+ days of sunshine per year A quick 45-minute drive to Lake Tahoe World-class skiing, hiking, biking, and a flourishing downtown scene Being a leading special events venue with incredible festivals, events, and outdoor/indoor concerts Safe neighborhoods and outstanding schools Living in a university town with the University of Nevada, Reno and its amenities within easy access The local Reno Tahoe International Airport Challapalli Cardiology Challapalli Cardiology is an independent, physician-owned practice with a long-standing reputation and an established referral network in the greater Reno-Tahoe region.
