Highlights: Employed position Join our current team of three orthopedic surgeons Exceptional financial and practice-building opportunity for elective practice Strong marketing and practice support Large, unsaturated geographic and population catchment area of ~ 450,000 in Texas Panhandle and border states Responsibilities: Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region Shared call with partners Assess, diagnose, treat and conditions and diseases of the musculoskeletal system utilizing surgical and non-surgical approaches Perform general and subspecialty orthopedic procedures Requirements: BC/BE Orthopaedic Surgery required Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency required Fellowship training in AR / Proficiency in total joints preferred Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain Clean professional background Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate bedside manner Compensation & Benefits: Generous base salary Relocation reimbursement Productivity incentive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability PTO, CME, 401(k) with match, Stock purchase plan Paid malpractice insurance Student loan repayment assistance and/or fellowship stipend may be available Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a tertiary care facility and teaching hospital known throughout the region for cardiac, stroke, emergency, surgical, and women & children’s services.
