Responsibilities Part-Time Dietitian Opportunity - Arbour Hospital - Quincy The Dietitian, in collaboration with Dietary services, acts as a resource to dietary staff to ensure delivery of a nutrition care program in accordance with standards established by Arbour. At Arbour Hospital - Jamaica Plain, we work diligently and compassionately to provide patients and their families with high-quality care and service excellence across a continuum of specialized behavioral health services. Job Summary Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk. Assesses diet order based on patient's age, current Effectively utilizes the medical record to obtain pertinent objective data. Accurately assess physical limitations which may compromise nutritional status. Accurately calculates metabolic needs, i.e., energy protein, fluid, and/or other specific nutrients. Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data. Completely follows through on recommendations made i.e., communication to physician, nutrition staff, nursing. Assesses patients based on religious, cultural, and ethnic preferences. Accurately documents the initial and ongoing assessment of patient's nutritional status and progress as determined by chart review. Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in MA required One to three years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian required.
