This internship allows active-duty military members within 180 days of separation to gain valuable civilian work experience while completing their military service. Program Summary: For Active Military candidates only: Provides necessary training, experience and technical support to ensure all aspects of the electronic medical record (EMR) are utilized effectively. Analyzes, defines and applies clinical and technical knowledge to solve complex problems within the EMR and workflows. Responsible for troubleshooting problems and challenges within the EMR which may include software, hardware, and workflow issues. Working knowledge of Order Management systems and Clinical Documentation (written or automated) Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills needed. Proponent of on-line Clinical Documentation/Electronic Medical Record. Working knowledge and experience with Cerner Millennium PowerChart preferred. Information Services experience providing Clinical Application Support preferred. Qualifications Position Requirements: Current CA RN License Required Must be in the military with 180 days left of service. Must be able to work onsite at our Southern California facilities.
