Brænder du for at gøre en forskel for indlagte børn? Så kom og vær med til at skabe sjove aktiviteter og hyggelige stunder for børn i aldersgruppen 6-12 år i Café Ællingen på Odense Universitetshospital.

Hvem er vi?

I samarbejde med Odense Universitetshospital (OUH) og Ungdommens Røde Kors (URK), tilbyder Café Ællingen muligheden for at støtte op om og skabe et frirum for børn indlagt på OUH’s børneafdeling. Vi har patienter i alderen 6-12 år indlagt på afdelingen, som kan have brug for et frirum, hvor sygdom ikke er fokus.

Vagterne er onsdage og torsdage fra 15.15 til 17.30 på OUH J.B Winsløws Vej. Caféen starter kl. 15.30, og man møder 15 minutter før. I caféen kan man lave aktiviteter som krea-ting, spille spil, finde på sjove lege, eller hvad der ellers er stemning for.

Vi tilbyder at du:

  • Bliver grundigt forberedt på din rolle i Café Ællingen. Både gennem en introduktion til caféen og til en uddannelsesdag for alle nye frivillige.
  • Bliver en del af et seriøst og sprudlende frivilligt team, som gør en forskel for børn med en anderledes hverdag.
  • Bliver en del af en energisk gruppe, der værdsætter det sociale samvær.
  • Får muligheden for at afprøve dig selv samt at udvikle dine sociale og menneskelige kompetencer.
  • Har indflydelse på og medansvar for planlægning og formidling af aktiviteterne i Café Ællingen.

Vi forventer at du:

  • Er mellem 18-34 år.
  • Deltager i vores obligatoriske uddannelsesdag.
  • Tager minimum 2 vagter om måneden.
  • Deltager i gruppemøder og fællesmøder.
  • Har lyst til at engagere dig socialt i en aktiv frivilliggruppe.
  • Har forståelse og empati for børnenes situation.
  • Kan se dig selv være frivillig i minimum et år.
