Als Hub Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van de logistieke hub in Gent en zorg je ervoor dat duizenden klanten hun maaltijdboxen tijdig en in optimale omstandigheden ontvangen.

  • Je coördineert de volledige last-mile-operatie en stuurt een team van teamleiders en chauffeurs aan. Daarbij waak je over de efficiëntie, kwaliteit en continuïteit van de dienstverlening.
  • Je combineert operationeel management met het begeleiden en ontwikkelen van medewerkers. Je motiveert je team, ondersteunt medewerkers in hun groei en spreekt hen aan wanneer prestaties of gedrag moeten worden bijgestuurd.
  • Daarnaast analyseer je de resultaten van de hub aan de hand van KPI’s en rapporteer je hierover aan de Area Manager. Je gaat actief op zoek naar mogelijkheden om werkprocessen te optimaliseren en de operationele doelstellingen te behalen.
  • Verder werk je samen met andere afdelingen en betrokken partners om problemen tijdig op te lossen en de samenwerking te verbeteren.
  • Ook ben je verantwoordelijk voor de personeelsplanning, uurroosters, de opvolging van afwezigheden en de evaluatie van medewerkers.
  • Tot slot beheer je het wagenpark, volg je de operationele kosten op en zie je erop toe dat alle activiteiten voldoen aan de geldende veiligheids-, welzijns- en milieunormen.
  • Minstens drie jaar ervaring hebben in de logistieke sector.
  • Ervaring hebben in een leidinggevende functie.
  • Beschikken over sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden om medewerkers te motiveren en te verbinden.
  • In staat zijn om duidelijke verwachtingen te formuleren, grenzen te stellen en moeilijke gesprekken professioneel aan te gaan.
  • Analytisch en procesgericht kunnen denken en gegevens vertalen naar concrete verbeteracties.
  • Een praktische, oplossingsgerichte en hands-on mentaliteit hebben.
  • Flexibel beschikbaar zijn, ook tijdens avonduren en weekends.
  • Vlot kunnen communiceren in het Nederlands en het Engels.
  • Bereid zijn om bij te leren en bij te dragen aan de groei en ontwikkeling van het team.
