The posting

The EA Tool Business Analyst will support the design, development, testing, release and adoption of the Bank’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) Tool. The role acts as a bridge between Enterprise Architecture stakeholders, the Bank’s application teams, and the delivery team developing and testing the EA Tool, ensuring that business needs are understood, translated into actionable backlog items and delivered with appropriate quality and control.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised and comfortable operating as part of multidisciplined software product team. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, disciplined follow-through and the ability to provide clear progress updates to multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Product design and requirements: Participate actively in EA Tool product design discussions, workshops and backlog refinement sessions. Understand the problem domain of user needs, business processes and governance requirements, and translate them into clear functional requirements, design documentation, process flows, acceptance criteria and well-structured user stories.

· User stories and backlog readiness: Create, refine and maintain user stories throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure scope, dependencies, assumptions, business rules and expected outcomes are documented and aligned with relevant stakeholders before development.

· Prototype and UI design: Develop practical prototypes, wireframes and screen concepts using AI-assisted tools, based on agreed design discussions. Use prototypes to clarify requirements, validate workflows and accelerate stakeholder feedback.

· Test planning and execution: Prepare test scenarios and detailed test cases that provide traceability to requirements and acceptance criteria. Coordinate and participate in functional testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing, and support defect triage and retesting.

· Release management and live verification: Follow release plans closely and coordinate with product, engineering, testing and support teams to confirm release readiness. Participate in production live verification, document outcomes and track any observations, defects or follow-up actions to closure.

· Stakeholder coordination: Work with Enterprise Architecture team, technology stakeholders, product owner, developers, testers and user representatives. Facilitate alignment, resolve requirement gaps and keep the team informed of progress, risks, dependencies and decisions.

· Progress reporting and governance: Maintain accurate delivery status and supporting artefacts. Support weekly reviews, prepare concise progress updates and present deliverable status, upcoming milestones, issues, risks and required decisions to stakeholders.

· Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve EA Tool workflows, usability, documentation, test coverage and product delivery practices. Contribute to reusable templates, standards and ways of working that strengthen product quality and delivery consistency.

· Practical experience creating test scenarios and test cases, supporting user acceptance testing, tracking defects and validating fixes.

· Good understanding of release management activities, including release readiness, deployment coordination, live verification and post-release follow-up.

· Ability to translate design discussions into clear prototypes or wireframes using Figma, AI-assisted prototyping tools or similar design platforms.

· Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, architecture, product, engineering, testing and support teams.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability and willingness to write good techno-functional user stories, design documentation, and test cases.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
