Job Summary

You will load, unload, and deliver goods safely and efficiently, navigate delivery routes using GPS, maintain vehicle safety, handle delivery documentation, and provide courteous customer service during deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Load, sort, and pack goods according to delivery documents to ensure accurate and safe transport
  • Unload goods safely at customer locations
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS or local maps to optimize delivery times
  • Perform daily vehicle safety and cleanliness checks, including tires, fuel, and fluid levels, and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Verify delivery orders, invoices, and payment collections, obtaining customer signatures or digital proof of delivery to confirm successful transactions
  • Greet customers politely, respond to basic inquiries, and resolve on-site delivery issues or feedback professionally
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth delivery operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Hold a valid local driving license (e.g., Singapore Class 3 driving license for light goods vehicles)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years driving experience with delivery responsibilities
  • Maintain physical fitness to lift, carry, and move packages weighing approximately 10kg or more
  • Use smartphone navigation apps (GPS) and digital proof-of-delivery tools proficiently
  • Exhibit a clean driving record, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Basic command of English for reading delivery orders and communicating with customers
  • Work well within a team environment
