The posting

De afdeling radiologie bestaat uit een 100-tal enthousiaste medewerkers in vijf gespecialiseerde teams: conventionele radiologie (RX), CT-scan, magnetische resonantie, angiografie/interventieradiologie en een administratieve unit. Ze werken iedere dag nauw samen met de radiologen.

Mede dankzij het universitaire karakter, is er een breed aanbod aan boeiende pathologieën . We waken over een goed evenwicht tussen kwantiteit en de kwaliteit van onderzoeken: diagnostische waarde én een fijne patiëntervaring staan voorop. Ook doet de dienst al jaren grote inspanningen om de stralingsdosis bij onderzoeken nauwkeurig op punt te stellen en waar mogelijk te verminderen. We blijven volop innoveren door te investeren in nieuwe onderzoekstechnieken.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Als medisch beeldvormer/verpleegkundige neem je röntgenfoto’s met moderne toestellen volgens het voorschrift van de behandelende arts, rekening houdend met de pathologie van de patiënt. Zo draag je eraan bij dat er voor de patiënt een passende behandeling kan worden opgestart.
  • Je werkt deze onderzoeken volledig zelfstandig af, onder supervisie van een radioloog.
  • De patiëntencontacten op de dienst radiologie zijn kort maar nauw: je kan op een korte tijd patiënten goed voorbereiden en geruststellen voor het onderzoek.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Je behaalde een diploma verpleegkunde (HBO5, bachelor of master) of medische beeldvorming.
  • Als verpleegkundige ben je in het bezit van een visum en een erkenning radioprotectie. Ben je technoloog in de medische beeldvorming, Dan heb je énkel een visum nodig.
  • Ervaring met radiologie is een plus, maar geen must. Heb je bijvoorbeeld nog geen opleiding radioprotectie gevolgd? Dan krijg je de ruimte om dat te doen.
  • Je hebt zin om je te specialiseren in conventionele radiologie en wil daarom blijven bijleren.
  • Je wil werken in een continu werkregime met wisselende shiften: vroege (8.00 - 16.30 uur) dag (8.30 - 17.00 uur) late (17.00 - 22.00 uur) nacht (22.00 - 8.00 uur) weekend (gemiddeld 1 weekend/maand)
  • Je bent een verantwoordelijke doener met organisatietalent.
  • Je werkt graag samen met collega’s.
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig en positief ingesteld.
  • Patiëntveiligheid is jouw grootste prioriteit.
