The posting

Binnen de Mobiele Equipe ben je, samen met de hoofdverpleegkundige, de verpleegkundigen en de administratieve medewerker, verantwoordelijk om het verblijf van de patiënt zo aangenaam mogelijk te laten verlopen. Hierdoor levert een zorgkundige ontegensprekelijk een belangrijke meerwaarde aan de patiëntenzorg in het UZA.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je wordt voor korte periodes ingezet op diverse afdelingen van het UZA om niet-geplande afwezigheden of verhoogde zorgzwaarte op te vangen.
  • De functie van de zorgkundige in het UZA omvat verscheidene ondersteunende activiteiten in de zorg: je helpt de verpleegkundige of verricht zelfstandig bepaalde patiënt- of afdelingsgebonden taken.
  • Je staat in voor het maaltijdgebeuren: het bevragen van de patiënten i.v.m. hun maaltijdkeuze, inbrengen van de maaltijdkeuzes in het “Maaltijdbeheersysteem”, maaltijden bedelen en afdienen, maaltijden zo nodig voorbereiden (boterhammen smeren, vlees snijden, …).
  • Je werkt steeds in opdracht en onder toezicht van een verpleegkundige.
  • Het takenpakket is vastgelegd bij Koninklijk Besluit (12 januari 2006): KB tot vaststelling van de verpleegkundige activiteiten die de zorgkundigen mogen uitvoeren en de voorwaarden waaronder de zorgkundigen deze handelingen mogen stellen.
  • Je bent bereid zowel vroege als late shiften te werken en min. 2 weekends/maand.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Je beschikt over het vereiste attest: "Visum zorgkundige" voor de uitoefening van deze functie.
  • Je bent in staat om de vijf bijkomende handelingen uit te voeren volgens het PentaPlus-project, of je bent bereid om de opleiding op korte termijn te volgen en het certificaat te behalen.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in team werken.
  • Je bent flexibel en patiëntvriendelijk.
  • Je bent bereid continu bij te scholen.
