The posting

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care services to clients in Saint Clair, MI. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity in their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers safely
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervising staff
  • Document care activities and report any changes in clients’ condition

Requirements

  • Experience in home health care or similar direct care role is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow established care plans
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients’ needs
  • Pass background check
