University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need within the Ann Arbor, MI community. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life in a respectful and caring manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
  • Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.
  • Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy and patience.
  • Reliable transportation to and from client locations within Ann Arbor, MI.
  • Ability to pass background checks and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate various client schedules.
