Relationship building will be an important part of the role. You’ll develop and maintain strong connections with Pacific communities, organisations, partners and stakeholders, using those relationships to strengthen our understanding and engagement.

You’ll work across the University, partnering with colleagues in Marketing and Recruitment, Communications and Engagement and the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Pacific. We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, comfortable providing specialist advice and able to influence and collaborate across a large and complex organisation.

  • Work across teams to bring campaigns, events and activations to life.
  • Review Pacific-focused content, ensuring it is relevant and culturally responsive.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen our Pacific brand presence and engagement.
  • Connect audience insight, brand, recruitment and wider University priorities.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent opportunity.

The full salary range is $87,000 to $118,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience (Band G).

We have a structured salary framework with three zones: developing (those developing into the role), fully effective (target), and contributing beyond what is expected of the role (upper). Appointments are typically made within the target range of $93,201 – $107,500 per annum, depending on skills, experience, and internal equity.

You’ll bring:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
