  • Understand and maintain the business rules, transformations, and reporting logic used to integrate and standardize financial data across multiple systems.
  • Validate financial data by reconciling reports against source accounting systems and investigating discrepancies to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop new dashboards, financial reports, and ad hoc analyses that support budgeting, forecasting, payroll analysis, and executive decision-making.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and models utilizing DAX and Power Query (M).
  • Support desktop-level data preparation and workflow automation using Alteryx, Excel, and related tools.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and other departments to understand business reporting requirements and resolve data-related issues.
  • Interpret accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting requirements and translate them into reporting solutions that accurately reflect business processes.
  • Maintain documentation for financial reporting logic, business rules, mappings, and technical processes.
  • Participate in testing new reports, enhancements, and system implementations prior to deployment.
  • Provide end-user support by responding to reporting questions, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users with Power BI applications.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, fiscal year-end, and budget reporting activities.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational data governance standards, reporting best practices, and internal controls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data preparation concepts; experience with Alteryx or similar tools is preferred.

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
