Job Description

Help Bring the World to Notre Dame!

Imagine being part of the team that welcomes students from around the world to Notre Dame, helping them navigate a new campus, experience new opportunities, and make memories that last well beyond their time here!

At Notre Dame Global, we connect people, ideas, and cultures through international education, research, scholarship, and partnerships. Guided by Notre Dame's Catholic character and commitment to inclusive, transformational global engagement, our work helps strengthen the University's role as a leading global research institution.

We're looking for a Global Engagement Programs Coordinator who enjoys working with people, thrives on organization, and loves bringing plans to life!

As part of our Global Engagement Team, you'll work closely with the Global Engagement Programs Director and Assistant Directors to coordinate short-term, non-degree programs for international visiting undergraduate students. What You'll Do Here

Guide Students from Application to Arrival

  • Serve as a primary resource for international visiting students, answering questions and guiding them through the application and enrollment process.
  • Review and evaluate applications, process admissions through TerraDotta and Banner, and communicate admission decisions.
  • Provide visa information, enrollment instructions, and guidance to help students prepare for their Notre Dame experience.

Bring Global Programs to Life

  • Coordinate logistics for short-term international programs, including housing, dining, health insurance, and ground transportation.
  • Plan and support orientations, welcome receptions, field trips, and other student events and activities.
  • Assist with payments to external vendors and campus partners supporting program operations.

Support Students Throughout Their Experience

  • Advise and assist international visiting students while they're on campus, helping them navigate questions, access resources, and have a positive experience.

Collaborate Across Campus

  • Partner with colleagues across Notre Dame Global and other University departments to coordinate program needs and ensure successful execution.

Connect with Future Visiting Students

  • Host virtual information sessions as needed, sharing program information and helping prospective students learn more about opportunities at Notre Dame.

Support What's Next

  • Assist with additional program-related projects and initiatives as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings a welcoming attitude, strong organizational skills, and a genuine interest in working with students from around the world.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
