As an Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II at UW-Green Bay, you will play a key role in advancing our mission to provide access to education for all who want to learn while supporting student success across Northeast Wisconsin. Serving as a trusted guide for prospective and admitted students, you will build meaningful relationships, provide individualized admissions and academic advising, and represent a university committed to fearlessly meeting challenges, embracing diversity, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for learners from all backgrounds. UW-Green Bay's strategic priorities of student success, inclusivity, digital transformation, and community connections are at the heart of this work.

In this highly visible role, you will leverage CRM technology, targeted communications, outreach partnerships, and engaging recruitment events to attract and enroll the next generation of Phoenix students. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, develop innovative recruitment strategies, evaluate program effectiveness, and deliver compelling messaging that reflects UW-Green Bay's brand as a university on the rise. Key Job Responsibilities:

  • May supervise staff and/or lead a program area
  • Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students
  • Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
  • Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  • Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
  • Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
  • Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities

Compensation:

Compensation Range of $44,739 - $46,226 This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, database) and the Internet.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, student personnel, higher education or related field at time of application
  • Proficiency in speaking and reading in a second language, preferably Spanish, Hmong Somali or Oneida
  • Experience with software systems such as PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Image Now that support Admissions processes

Conditions of Employment:

This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting request.

Travel throughout Wisconsin to high schools, college fairs, community events, and other educational institutions is required. This position will occasionally require evening and weekend hours to support recruitment activities. Rental vehicles are available for business travel, and lodging and meals per diem are provided in accordance with university travel policies and the travel schedule.

The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs.

A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In addition, if the final selected candidate has prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct will be completed. A six-month probationary period is required for this position. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.

The Universities of Wisconsin provides an excellent benefits package to meet the diverse needs of its employees. We participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), where employer contributions begin immediately, and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The Universities of Wisconsin also provides supplemental retirement savings programs including a 403(b) and Deferred Compensation.

In addition, eligible employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually and paid parental leave. Eligible employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.

Employee Misconduct
