Join University Home Care Inc as a Personal Support Worker in Pontiac, MI. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide high-quality care and support to our clients. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance as needed.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks related to client care, including meal preparation and medication reminders.
  • Document and report any changes in client condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Follow care plans and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in personal support or caregiving preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
