Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for communicating with security officers to provide information supporting customers and team members. Monitors CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity. Reviews surveillance footage with leadership during investigations. Coordinates responses to security incidents. Ensures effective information flow to enhance safety and security.

Essential Functions

• Monitors the Security Squad room and views CCTV monitors.

• Reports security concerns to Security Officers and dispatches calls by radio.

• Answers telephones and provides information and assistance to co-workers and customers.

• Documents daily activities in the security computer program.

• Maintains and updates the lost and found log, notifying individuals when items are recovered.

• Operates the control panel for CCTV and access control systems.

• Operates and maintains a two-way radio.

• Responds effectively to codes and emergency situations according to Medical Center policies and procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Experience Requirement

0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

All experience must be paid and in the same related field.

Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
