We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility, in partnership with our leadership team, for the organisation and delivery of our wrap‑around care service, ensuring a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for all children. As the lead professional on site during wrap‑around hours, you will oversee daily routines, manage staff and maintain high standards of care and enrichment.

Upland’s Little Explorers, a brand-new term-time only preschool that opened in September 2025, is seeking to recruitment a Level 3 Senior Wrap Around Assistant to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day leadership and co-ordination of the breakfast and after-school provision for both nursery and school nursery aged children.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, safe and engaging wrap around care.
  • Manage the preparation and organisation of resources and equipment for planned activities.
  • Allocate staff roles and responsibilities to ensure appropriate supervision ratios.
  • Support the Nursery Manager with staffing rotas and cover arrangements.
  • Ensure that all safeguarding and health and safety policies are followed.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a Level 3 , full and relevant, qualification or higher.
  • Enjoys working with children.
  • Is kind, patient and enthusiastic.
  • Has experience in a pre-school setting.
