The posting

Purpose of Role:

To support the Company's daily finance and accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, tax compliance and audit requirements, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle daily finance and accounting transactions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).

2. Assist in maintaining full-set accounts and ensuring accurate financial records.

3. Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.

4. Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and prepayments.

5. Assist with month-end and year-end closing ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

6. Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, payments and account balances.

7. Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting and variance analysis.

8. Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits, tax submissions and statutory compliance.

9. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant external parties when required.

10. Assist with SST, tax matters and other regulatory requirements where applicable.

11. Maintain proper financial records, supporting documents and filing systems.

12. Perform other finance, accounting and administrative duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Good understanding of AP, AR, GL, financial reporting and basic accounting principles.
  • Basic knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Exposure to full-set accounts, taxation and audit is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
