A Brief Overview
The US LBM Senior Manager - Cloud Delivery leads the delivery, operation, governance, and continuous improvement of US LBM cloud services. This role manages a distributed cloud engineering team and partners with Architecture, Cyber Security, Applications, Data, and product teams to design, deploy, migrate, operate, and optimize cloud-based solutions. The position combines people leadership, technical and service ownership, financial accountability, operational excellence, and project delivery in a rapidly growing, multi-site enterprise.
Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000 annually
What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop cloud engineering staff, including goals, priorities, performance, and succession planning.
- Own Azure infrastructure and platform delivery across production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.
- Develop cloud platform roadmaps aligned with Infrastructure Operations and technology strategy.
- Guide design, deployment, migration, and support of Azure, virtual desktop, automation, and hybrid-cloud capabilities.
- Lead technical planning with engineers, architects, project managers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor service performance, availability, capacity, reliability, user experience, and operational risk.
- Lead FinOps practices, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, optimization, and executive reporting.
- Maintain and test cloud backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
- Partner with Cyber Security on vulnerability remediation, secure configuration, access controls, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure operational readiness through change management, CAB review, and clear implementation planning.
- Support major incidents, escalations, root-cause analysis, stakeholder communications, and corrective actions.
- Maintain service documentation, diagrams, procedures, standards, runbooks, asset records, and CMDB information.
- Manage cloud service intake, demand prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery commitments across operational and project work.
- Drive automation, standardization, observability, risk reduction, and engineering efficiency.
- Communicate cloud strategy, service health, delivery status, cost, risk, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive infrastructure or cloud experience, including hands-on Microsoft Azure operations.
- 3+ years of people or technical team leadership in a distributed enterprise environment.
- Experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including resiliency, scalability, cost optimization, operational support, and platform governance.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, cloud-native and container platforms (AKS, ACR, ACI, Linux), and end-user computing solutions including Azure Virtual Desktop, FSLogix, and Nerdio.
- Experience managing engineers, analysts, project resources, vendors, and managed service providers across priorities and time zones.
- Experience with cloud financial management, budgeting, forecasting, optimization, and leadership reporting.
- Experience leading major incidents, escalations, root-cause analysis, change management, and risk reduction.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical decisions clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and support multiple priorities in a matrixed, multi-site environment.
- Experience with Azure well-architected framework, networking, Entra ID, Azure Policy, landing zones, governance, and enterprise cloud operations preferred.
- Experience with FinOps, discounts, chargeback, tagging, and cost accountability preferred.
- Experience with acquisition integrations, cloud migrations, data-center transitions, and modernization preferred.
- Working knowledge of ITIL, CMDB, security controls, audit evidence, and disaster recovery testing preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher-level Azure certification preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 20% travel may be required for meetings, training, and other business activities. Travel may include overnight stays and air travel.
